Halfway through the summer season and Brancepeth B are top of the League after an emphatic win over the visiting Brandon Football Club.
The Brancepeth won all of their single games with points scored by John Thirwell, Paul Dazely, David Newman, David Wallace, Gary Kemp, and Rob Stewart. Brandon took the first frame of the pairs via Gavin Mudd and partner Ian Bellamy, but this was to be the visitors only point. Paul Dazely with David Wallace, and Gary Kemp with Rob Stewart won the remaining pairs, while Gary Kemp continued the Brancepeth's success by winning the captain's game.

Durham visited Bishop Auckland B in a re-arranged fixture and put themselves back in the title chase when they defeated their hosts 12-2. The only winners for Bishop were Warren Stamp and John Searle. Winners for Durham with two wins each were Paul Brockway, Michael Rhodes, Chris Bowron and Dave Neill. Gavin West and Andrew Morley had one win each.
The semi-finals of the team knock-out are Chester v Shildon and Durham v Crook A to be played on September 30.
