PHOTOGRAPHS detailing a theatre project with street children in Ghana are on display at the Green Dragon Museum, Stockton.
The pictures were taken by photographer Rik Walton as he accompanied his playwright wife, Kathleen McCreery, to the African country.
The pair worked with youngsters, who had been living rough on the streets, to introduce them to drama through workshops and the creation of plays.
The exhibition, which has already been on display in Washington and South Shields, shows the homeless children learning about theatre.
Ms McCreery was invited to Ghana by the charity Street Child Africa.
Mr Walton hopes to raise awareness of the charity through his exhibitions in the UK.
All the photographs are for sale and profits go to Street Child Africa.
The exhibition opens tomorrow and will continue until November.
