A TEENAGER and two men have appeared before Teesside Crown Court charged with murder.
Derek Angus, 29, of Carnarvon Close, Eston, Darren Hart, 19, of Upper Oxford Street, South Bank, both Middlesbrough, and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are charged with causing the death of Wayne Bircham.
The 19-year-old, from Grangetown, Middlesbrough, died from a single stab wound after a confrontation in Lanchester Street, Grangetown, on June 10.
Mr Hart faced three charges, of wounding with intent on a previous occasion, murder, and affray. His fellow accused faced the latter two counts.
They pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The teenager and Mr Hart were granted bail, while Mr Angus was remanded in custody until the next hearing.
