A VAN driver who died in a collision on a notorious road has been named.
Craig Eaton, 37, of Surrey Street, Middlesbrough, was killed in a four-vehicle crash on the A171 Guisborough to Scarborough Road, near Charltons Village, at about 2.15pm on Thursday.
The accident also involved a Mercedes Benz coach, a grass-cutting tractor, and a Renault Megane. It follows a series of collisions on the single carriageway, which campaigners say should be turned into a dual carriageway.
