HARTLEPOOL United finally got the victory Chris Turner has been demanding with a fiery win over Carlisle at Victoria Park.
Three players were dismissed - Pool's Kevin Henderson and Carlisle's Lee Andrews for fighting in the penalty area and the visitors then had substitute Tony Hopper red carded after a late lunge on James Sharp.
Mark Tinkler scored his third of the season in the first-half to pull Pool level after Chay Hews put the visitors in front after just three minutes.
Tinkler netted from eight yards when the ball fell to him eight yards out from Paul Stephenson's corner.
New boy Gordon Watson netted his second in three games when he held off Mark Winstanley to get on the end of Adam Boyd's exquisite pass and the impressive Boyd made it three in the closing stages when he rifled low past keeper Peter Keen.
