LEADING police officers will face the public to answer queries and discuss local crime problems next week.
Superintendent Jim Campbell, the most senior officer in the Northumbria force's Sunderland West division, and colleagues will meet residents, at Farringdon Community School, on Monday, next week.
The community forum will hear of the force's plans for future policing of the area, with people attending having the chance to outline their crime-related fears.
It is the latest in a series of community events staged by Northumbria Police Authority as part of its regular consultation process with the public.
The open meeting, starting at 7pm, will be chaired by independent authority member Janet Guy, and staged at the community school's Allendale Road site, in Farringdon.
