AN art exhibition Celebrating the North York Moors has been a huge success, attracting more than 6,000 visitors since it opened in July.
The show, at Scarborough Art Gallery, includes photography, textiles, ceramics and paintings by more than 40 artists, is a joint project between the North York Moors National Park and Scarborough Museums and Gallery.
Jill Renney, of the National Park, said: "The success of the exhibition demonstrates that art is a popular means of communicating the intangible qualities of the North York Moors.
"I'm delighted that so many people have visited the gallery and hope that the exhibition has helped them to appreciate the special qualities of the National Park."
The exhibition continues until October 28.
