A WALKING treasure hunt around the city of York will set a mental and physical challenge to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The Holy Grail Trail on Saturday, October 20, can be tackled in two ways; the Templars Search for seasoned quiz-goers, who can expect four hours of clue solving and walking, or the Family Fun Search, a shorter two-hour trail revealing fascinating folklore.
The charity event has been organised in association with Black Sheep Brewery, whose specially commissioned bottled beer, Monty Python's Holy Grail Ale, inspired the challenge, and the trail is devised by Mark Reid, author of Town Trails North Yorkshire.
Community fundraising manager, Carol Oliver, said: "Even if you've visited York before this will give you a fresh look, and there's plenty of chance to take in some shopping or other visitor attractions."
