WHAT'S HOT - FASHION PHONES: Mobile phones have gone all designer and the trendiest covers are now up for grabs. As part of London Fashion Week, Nokia has launched an exclusive range of phone covers designed by some of the top names in the fashion world. The designers got involved to help the Terrence Higgins Trust and just two of each exclusive design has been manufactured. One will be kept by the designer and the other will be auctioned to raise money for the Aids charity. The funky, exclusive designs can be viewed at www.QLX.com/terrencehigginstrust and bids can be placed between October 5 and 19.
BLONDE AMBITION: It seems blondes really do have more fun. Kitchen goddess Nigella Lawson has changed her striking dark looks with a bottle of peroxide and, in her latest video, Victoria Beckham contrasts her natural dark hair with a platinum white wig. The new blonde looks may not look natural but they are incredibly striking and ensure the women get maximum attention. Going blonde is a big step - with regrowth and roots as big a problem as turning your hair into a brittle mass of straw - but there are other ways to recreate the look. Streaks in three or more shades of blonde can create a more subtle look but if you are desperate for a shocking image, buy a wig for the weekends and return to a shrinking, mousy wallflower during the week.
LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON: Callum Best is a good-looking party animal with an eye for the ladies. But he had a good teacher - his dad is legendary footballer George Best. Callum has been seen on the town with a host of models, including Jordan and Caprice. He has got a modelling contract and is making his money from driving women all over the world wild. With his dashing good looks and fit body, Callum is set to become as big a star as his dad. Hopefully, he'll learn from his father's mistakes and stay on top of the celebrity tree without any hiccups for as long as possible.
WHAT'S NOT - EYE EYE: Tinted contact lenses are all the range with youngsters going from blue to brown to bright yellow in the blink of an eye. The lenses come in a huge variety of colours and designs, but it seems there are hidden dangers with the new craze. There's a new trend for swapping lenses at parties without washing hands or taking any of the hygiene precautions needed to stop the exchange of germs and bacteria, and the Eyecare Trust has warned that young people who share lenses could pass on a host of infections and may even risk seriously damaging their eyes.
Remember - good eyesight is something far more precious than having the latest look.
SILLY NAME: Davina McCall is famous for being one of the girls - a no-nonsense woman who has her feet planted firmly on the ground. The TV presenter has just given birth to her first child but her pregnancy seems to have addled her brain. Her daughter weighed in at 8lbs 12oz and the lovely Davina described her natural birth as the most fun she's had since making her daughter. But then the problems set in. Davina and her model husband Matthew Robinson are calling her Holly Willow. Up until now, Davina has shown herself to be an unpretentious lady but her baby's name shows that, underneath, she's just a celeb.
BOXED OFF: What has happened to Frank Bruno? The giant boxer always seemed to be gentle hero who dressed up for panto, visited sick children in hospital and still had time for his family. But his image has taken a huge battering in recent weeks. First his 'so perfect' marriage fell apart with his wife blaming him for the split; then he dented his image further on national TV. He took part in Celebrity Sleepover on BBC1, where he was sent to spend the night with an ordinary couple who run a pub. He knew he was being filmed but bitched about his home life and being a celebrity and was down-right rude to his hosts.
There's nothing wrong with speaking your mind, but Frank has made his money by selling a certain "gentle giant" image. He can't just turn his back on it now he's got enough money to settle his divorce.
SMOKING: The 23-year-old twins above were made up to look 40 for an anti-smoking campaign. Guess which one was posing as the 20-a-day tabber? If the stained teeth, sallow skin and extra wrinkles don't put you off, nothing will...
