TWO members of one of the Army's most prestigious corps are returning to Teesside to talk about their exploits.
Privates Susan Rutley and Ryan Wall will spend next week at the Middlesbrough Army Careers Information Office, in Borough Road, where they enlisted after completing their initial training.
Both are now members of the Adjutant General's Corps, (AGC) which maintains the personal documentation and financial administration for soldiers and officers.
Susan, 17, left Laurence Jackson School, in Guisborough, after completing her GCSEs and joined the Army to gain challenges and the opportunity to travel.
She has since undergone adventure training including rock climbing, canoeing, mountain biking and abseiling.
Ryan joined the AGC after leaving Bede College with two A-levels, and has also undergone adventure training, as well as visiting the World War One battlefields in France and flying in a Chinook helicopter.
Warrant officer Graydon Williams, senior recruiter at the Middlesbrough Armed Forces Careers Office, said: "Both Susan and Ryan have done extremely well to successfully complete their courses. They are excellent examples to other young people of how they can go from school leaver to successful soldier."
