A NORTH-East football club with a squad of many nationalities is helping get the latest soccer anti-racism message across.
Actors from TV series Byker Grove and Newcastle Eagles basketball player Ian Whyte joined Newcastle United defender Warren Barton to Show Racism the Red Card. As part of their annual review, the anti-racism group launched 50,000 posters to help get the message across yesterday.
Ged Grebby, from Show Racism the Red Card, said: "Geordies are black and white - 16 nationalities but one team."
The posters, unveiled at St James' Park, will be distributed throughout Tyneside.
