Surprisingly they slipped to fourth on the day, the first time they finished out of the top two but with 370 points the campaign was wrapped up by a massive 55 points.
Individually the Blues enjoyed a good day producing the top two.

In the Woodland Lakes Pairs Open on Dragonfly, Mallard, Partridge, Skylark and Swallow Saturday's big turn of 82 rods spread around the five match lakes enjoyed bumper sport highlighted by quality fish.
Map Elton's Paul Taylor was delighted to draw Swallow Lake and hammered out a staggering 74.6.0
Fishing peg two Paul worked the pole at 14 metres presenting the killing bait cat meat on the bottom of the island ledge in 4 foot of water. Action was non-stop as common carp up to 6.0.0 slid over the landing net.
Runner up Lyndon Roberts won a spectacular fight subduing a scale perfect common carp of 19.14.0.
The Map Elton regular on Dragonfly 10 poled fished cat meat at 12 & 13 metres for a final score of 63.0.0 comprising of just 18 carp.
The Pairs Event split into two sections of 41 gave winners Lyndon Roberts & Keith Kotchie of Map Elton an impressive five point total.

Local man Geoff Cross managed to hang onto the lead taking 38.2.0 to the scales during the Oaks Sessay Open on Sunday staged on Maple Lake. Sport was constant off peg four delivering plenty of small carp nothing over 12ozs.
Geoff's winning tactics were split between two lines the bulk of fish coming to long pole and pellet across on the far ledge adding valuable fish on the meat down the middle.
Selby's Clive Stokes after drawing the 'golden peg' no 62 missed out on a small fortune as his pole and corn carp net fell an agonising 1.2.0 short at the weigh in.
Dave stole the show at Moor Monkton's Carpvale Poole Open on Wednesday.
Dave Maddison of York finished first recording 46.8.0. The carp were lying along the reeds and he tamed a dozen thanks to the 14 metre pole and meat followed by Dave Spence of Armley with an all carp haul of 41.10.0 relegating team-mate Dave Wright into third place on 28.8.0.
Midweek floods had thankfully peaked on the Ouse running just 3 foot above normal for the Leeds event around Aldwark on Sunday.
Marsh Tackle's Tommy Pitts had the luxury of a slack on the sand bed eight pegs upstream of the Bridge. Groundbait feeder and caster using worm on the hook secured one big bream and a skimmer totalling 7.3.0 for victory while Armley's Bob Cramner relied on a lone barbel of 6.9.0 to bomb and lobworm for runner up spot.

The West Bank from Mill Beckmouth to the Jetty - pegs one to 55 - is now accessible but parking is ONLY allowed from the Scruton car park where disinfectant areas still remain in operation.

Black lures, black buzzers and bloodworm taking most fish. Although an orange fritz tempted the heaviest of the week a super rainbow of 13.3.0 falling to Rob Self of Maiden Law.
Other doubles include: 11.13.0 Rob Common of Morpeth on a black buzzer; 10.1.0 Keith Dickinson of Richmond on a pheasant tail.
Darlington's Charlie Newton enjoyed a good session on Swinton Estates Leighton Reservoir grassing two 8.0.0 rainbows both to orange fritz lures.
Lures proving best but Dawsons olive, orange, black and green fritz, hoppers muddlers and bibios all producing fish. 149 visitors accounted for 473 trout.
