BRASS band music lovers are in for a treat tomorrow when a concert will be held in a restored bandstand.
The concert by the Dunston Silver Band has been organised to celebrate the reopening of the bandstand, in Saltwell Park, Gateshead.
The bandstand, which dates from the 1920s, has undergone a three-month restoration, to return it to its original glory.
It is one of many improvements that have been made to the Victorian Park, as part of its five-year, multi-million pound revamp.
The concert will take place from 11am until noon. Gateshead Family Sculpture Day is also being held in the park, from 11am to 4pm.
