PEOPLE thinking of setting up their own business can sign up for a new course.
Darlington College, at Catterick, and Barclays Bank have joined forces to set up the courses.
The Start Right programme begins on Wednesday with a seminar at the college site in Catterick Garrison.
Speakers will include members of the local business community, who will give their insight into setting up a company.
Darlington college business and community advisor Alan Murray will address the seminar on the role of the Internet in business.
He said: "I would urge anybody thinking of setting up on their own to come along and get some advice, either from the college staff or from our guest speakers."
The courses include management and computing skills, as well as desktop publishing and building a computer.
