FIRE officials have finished their investigations into a blaze which killed two young children.
Caitlin Sculley, three, and Joseph Sands, 23 months, died after a fire at their home in Charlbury Road, Pallister Park, Middlesbrough, at about 2am on Friday.
They were being looked after by teenage babysitters Nicola Watkins and Sarah Hoyland, both 13, when the incident happened.
Their mother, 22-year-old Marie Scully, who is four months pregnant with her third child, was at work as a door supervisor at a Middlesbrough pub when the fire broke out.
Their father, Robert Sands, also 22, was in Derby, where he is working as a labourer.
Investigations have ruled out an electrical fault or gas explosion and a report has been sent to the coroner.
