PEOPLE looking for unusual Christmas gifts are invited to attend two art exhibitions.
Hartlepool Art Gallery is hosting displays by the Northern Potters' Association and Hartlepool Art Club, from now until January 7 and December 16 respectively.
Items for sale include colourful and striking ceramics, watercolours, oils and acrylics.
The Northern Potters' exhibition includes work by Paul Mossman, Bob Parry and Jean Crabtree.
Hartlepool Art Club is represented by such artists as Margery Shotton, Stephen Crowther, Wilf Lancaster and Walter Parker.
Steve Warne, Hartlepool Borough Council's exhibitions officer, said: "These two exhibitions are always hugely popular, and provide an excellent showcase for local and regional talent.
"It's even better when you have the chance to buy an exhibit."
The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5.30pm, and between 2pm and 5pm on Sundays
