HUNDREDS of people turned out for The Northern Echo's Autumn Job Fair at the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington, yesterday.
More than 25 companies and organisations were represented at the event, which attracted people from across the region.
Members of the Army, Royal Navy, Orange, Durham Police, Darlington Library and The Northern Echo were on hand to deal with inquiries from the public.
Linda Paramor, of The Northern Echo, said the event had been a huge success for both the organisations involved and visitors.
She said: "It's been busy all day and, hopefully, a lot of organisations and companies have had the chance to speak to the public, and prospective employees, face to face.
"This is something that The Northern Echo prides itself on, and it seems to have proved very popular.
