Andrew Dennis Tock was remanded on bail for pre-sentence reports when he entered his pleas at York Crown Court.
Tock, of Thornton-le-Dale, near Pickering, pleaded guilty to causing the deaths of Rebecca Marie Atkinson, 15, and Thomas David Leng, 17, by dangerous driving, at Golden Hill, on the A64 trunk road, between York and Malton, in October last year.
