THREE dogs are looking for new homes after being given up by their owners.
The pets are all being looked after by foster owners in County Durham linked to the National Animal Sanctuary Support League.
Panda, a border collie-cross, is only three-months old.
Pauline Wilson, of the support league, said: "He is a very sweet little puppy. The people who got him originally thought it was a good idea but then realised they couldn't cope.
"He got passed down the line and then ended up with us. We would like to get him settled in a nice home before Christmas so he can enjoy it."
Pan, an eight-week old mongrel puppy who is the last of the litter, is also looking for a loving home - as is Tara, a one-year-old mongrel, who has just had puppies. The new mother is described as "a dog who has a lot of love to give".
Anyone who would like to give one of these dogs a home should call (01325) 321855.
