WOMEN from across the region will be bidding to become a Playboy TV star at a North-East nightclub tonight.
They will be competing in the regional final of the competition to find a new Playboy presenter, at the Mardi Gras club, in Darlington.
The competition will see the contestants walk down a catwalk, do a striptease and a table dance. A spokesman for the nightclub said: "It will be more about personality than looks."
The winner will go through to a semi-final in either Scotland, the Midlands or London, with the grand final to be staged in February.
The first prize is a six-month presenting contract with Playboy TV, a photo shoot and portfolio by a top photographer, a Playboy video contract, photo shoot with Loaded magazine and £2,000 cash.
Doors open at 10pm.
