Spennymoor Boxing Academy's annual show served as a great warm-up before the club's trip to the US later this month.
A group of Spennymoor's fighters and coaches are flying to Chicago where they will take on the Chicago Golden Gloves club and it is hoped the gesture will be reversed some time next year with the US team paying a trip to the North-East.
And the globe-hopping Spennymoor club are already planning another trip having been invited to take on the British army's 2CS Regiment of the RoyalLogistic Core during February next year.
Last Friday's show, which saw Spennymoor matched with Welsh outfit, MerthyrABC, was another sell-out with nine of the 11 bouts being won by the host club.
Spennymoor's England international, Nathan Ballan, again impressed as he wonthe award for evening's best junior boxer while the Joe Davidson-Ryan Evans fight was awarded the best junior bout.
