Whitby Town boss Harry Dunn is playing down his side's chances of overcoming Third Division leaders Plymouth tomorrow.

The seaside town is being carried away with Cup fever and fans are hoping that the team can at least emulate the thrilling draw they had with Hull City five years ago.

Whitby drew 0-0 with Hull in the first round that year, and then led the replay 4-3 until Hull levelled seconds before the end.

"I've watched Plymouth on video and in live action, and they are a far better side than Hull," said Dunn.

"They are very mobile, defend very well - I think they are twice the side Hull were.

"I saw them at Cheltenham last Friday and they never looked as if they were going to lose.

"Everybody must work hard, and the fans must be prepared for the fact that we will have to do a lot of defending in the game, because without doubt we are going to be under a lot of pressure.

"They haven't lost for ten games, they haven't lost away from home, so we know that it is going to be a tough game."

However, Dunn is a past master of playing down the big occasion. "We must make sure we take our chances when they come along. Mind you, we might have one or two tricks up our sleeves."

Dunn has had fitness problems to contend with all this week, with five of his squad struggling.

"The players must be 100 per cent fit, because they will have to work hard all game.

"It won't be like a league game, when sometimes we can take a chance on players not being fully fit."
