A second half Paul Campbell strike was enough to put Darlington into the second round of the FA Cup when they beat Kidderminster on Saturday.
The game wasn't pretty to watch in a game Harriers did most of the attacking in.
However, the visitors held firm at the back with 19-year-old David McGurk making his first appearance as a second half substitute.
The all important winner came in the 54th minute, with left winger Richard Hodgson crossing from the right with his weaker foot to the far post for Campbell to head home and seal Darlington's place in Sunday's draw.
The last ten minutes saw the home side put Quakers under the cosh but they couldn't find that killer touch in front of goal.
