SOME of the pop world's best known figures made an appearance at a primary school yesterday as children dressed as their favourite stars for Children in Need.
Madonna, Elvis and Slim Shady were all represented at St John's Primary School, Shildon, County Durham, and during the afternoon the children gave a concert.
And as a surprise for the children, support staff even put on their own pop stars performance.
Lisa Turnbull, from the school, said: "The children have missed every playtime and lunchtime to practise the choreography for the show.
"We're looking at doing this as a Christmas concert for the parents with a karaoke as well."
