Paul Campbell was Darlington's hero on Saturday as he booked Quakers a second round tie against either Altrincham or Lancaster City with his second of the season, following his six this term for the reserve.
Although he enjoyed being the match-winner, he was quick to point out the predetermined goal celebration was not of his making, and pointed the finger of blame in Paul Heckingbottom's direction, who, says Campbell, was also the instigator of post-goal routine at Halifax two weeks ago.
Having headed past Stuart Brock nine minutes into the second half, Campbell invited his teammates to a position in front of the visiting fans before indulging in a celebratory jig.
"That was Hecky's idea, he saw something on the telly in the morning so when we were waiting for the bus, he told us we had a new celebration to do," he said.
"Halifax was Hecky's idea too.
"That was because of the song, Who Let The Dogs Out. Barry Conlon didn't know what was going on, he just followed us.
"Lately I've been making a habit of scoring goals, that's why the long hair is coming along.
"I got taught once never to change my luck and I've just to stuck it so I'm not getting my hair cut at the moment but I'm getting a bit of stick from the lads in the dressing room."
"I didn't really expect it. I wasn't involved against Oxford so I was hoping to be included as there was a couple of suspensions. I know Tommy mentioned about using a couple of the young lads so I was hoping for a place on the bench.
"But then in training on Friday we lined up and I was in the side.
"It wasn't the prettiest of performances but we ground out the result. We did that well, we defended as unit and killed the game off but it wasn't very nice when they had a header which went across the line."
Manager Tommy Taylor expects to sign 19-year-old Dan Chillingsworth on loan from Cambridge United this morning in time to play tomorrow night.
The striker was in the Abbey Stadium youth ranks under Taylor six years ago.
With Adam Reed's knee injury ruling him out for a month, Taylor was hoping to speak to Newcastle United last night about the bringing in central-defender Gary Caldwell on loan
