A GOURMET food company based in the region has attracted attention from some of the nation's leading food connoisseurs.
Yorkshire Game was one of 100 producers recently invited to take part in the Henrietta Green's Food Lover's Fair in London.
The company, at Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, buys partridges, pheasants, wild venison and other game from estates in County Durham, North Yorkshire and Scotland, and processes and distributes them around the country from its base on Aycliffe Industrial Estate.
The company's food fair stall was visited by, among others, Clarissa Dickson Wright, from the Two Fat Ladies cookery programme
