DETECTIVES are hunting a burglar who has been raiding Darlington pubs to steal cash from gaming machines and pool tables.
Six pubs in the town have been raided since Saturday night, when the thief struck at four pubs in the town.
During the course of the night, the Springfield pub, in Salters Lane, Mick McCarthy's, in Duke Street, the Cricketers, in Parkgate, and another pub in the North Road area were raided.
The spree continued the following night on the edge of town, at the Old Farmhouse, on the A67, near Morton Park.
During Tuesday night, the Shuttle and Loom pub, in Whinfield, was also targeted by raiders.
