ARMY signaller Vicki Wedgwood-Jones gave museum visitors an added attraction when she carried out a training exercise beside a rare exhibit.
The 22-year-old troop commander, from Darlington, joined Territorial Army soldiers from 49 Signal Squadron as part of their training at the Yorkshire Air Museum, in Elvington, North Yorkshire. The squadron, part of 34 Signal Regiment, used the museum to set up communications with other units around Yorkshire, as part of exercise Winter Falcon.
Second Lieutenant Wedgwood-Jones, a former pupil of Hummersknott School, in Darlington, said: "It is all about working together as a team and putting your signals knowledge into practice."
A bonus for the troops was the museum's newest attraction - a Harrier GR3 - donated by the Cranfield Institute of Technology.
