ABOUT 6,000 people descended on a small North Yorkshire town for a brewery's fifth annual Victorian Fair.
The four-day event at the Black Sheep Brewery, Masham, attracted record numbers this year.
Forty local craft stalls were on show, with staff dressed in Victorian costume. Visitors were also treated to brewery tours, mulled wine, mince pies, roast chestnuts, children's entertainment and a Santa's grotto, to get them in the festive spirit.
Brewery marketing manager Helen Broadley said: "This is the busiest it has every been. People have come from all over - some have travelled from as far away as Washington, on Wearside.
"It's a different day out, particularly in the run-up to Christmas."
