BUS company Arriva Northumbria and North-East clinched two titles at the Bus Industry awards.
Arriva's £1m Going your way campaign was launched in the North-East during the spring and involved an advertising campaign, distribution of 1.5 million information leaflets, and a range of new tickets.
The campaign saw Arriva shortlisted for two titles in the awards, which reward innovation in the industry.
The first award, in the marketing category, recognised the campaign's success in informing people about services and encouraging more people to use the buses.
The second award, in the buses for pleasure category, acknowledged the campaign's achievement in encouraging people to visit museums, tourist attractions, and sporting events by bus.
