ONLY days after launching a new business division, fashion retailer Van Mildert has secured a contract with motor company Reg Vardy.
Durham City-based Van Mildert, which has invested significantly in the launch of its own corporate sales division, has formed a strategic partnership with Sunderland-based Reg Vardy to provide corporate clothing for its employees.
It is part of a pilot scheme to offer staff working at Reg Vardy's Doxford Park HQ the chance to access exclusive designer clothing at affordable prices.
Van Mildert's branded work wear has been created in partnership with an Italian tailor, which produces clothing for brands such as Giorgio Armani and Mulberry.
Darren Cane, managing director at Van Mildert, said: "We recognised a growing demand for smart, stylish corporate wear without the associated designer price tags." Barry Pollock, head of public relations at Reg Vardy, said: "The deal we have agreed with Van Mildert is part of our growing colleague benefit scheme, which offers them the opportunity to buy a number of sought- after goods at advantageous prices.
