AT least one thousand people are expected at an air spectacular this weekend - which may be held indoors.
All the aircraft on show at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, are scale models.
However, with the advance of technology, some are so small they can be flown at indoor venues.
As many as 1,500 enthusiasts are expected through the gates on Saturday and Sunday at the second Christmas Air Spectacular at the Harrogate venue, although the event itself celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
The first was held in Harrogate, but organisers moved it to the Yorkshire Air Museum, at Elvington, near York, until moving to the showground in 2000.
Gates open at 10am on both days, with outdoor demonstrations with larger model aircraft also planned on Sunday, weather permitting.
