LOCALLY-grown Christmas trees from sustainable forests will be on sale at Guisborough Forest and Walkway every weekend between December 8 and 23, from 10am until 3pm.
A variety of trees will be available, including the traditional spruce, two varieties of pine and the silvery blue noble fir, all at competitive prices.
A recycling facility for used trees will be open at the centre from Wednesday, January 2, where trees will be chipped and the mulch produced will be used on site for a variety of projects including mulching hedge-rows and flowerbeds to prevent weeds from growing and to help the soil retain its moisture.
For further information about sales and recycling, call Deborah Jefferson on (01287) 631132 or Briony Serginson on (01642) 444239.
