TENANTS in east Cleveland are being balloted to choose a representative for the board of Coast and Country Housing.
Coast and Country Housing is a new non-profit organisation being set up to manage Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's housing stock.
Ballot forms have been distributed to 3,700 tenants, giving a shortlist of three candidates keen to fill the vacancy of tenancy director following the death of 71-year-old Peter Baldwin, from Lingdale, earlier this year.
The three candidates are John Bostock, 49, from New Skelton, Rex Broxham, 66, from Guisborough and Susan Taylor, 54, also from New Skelton.
There are 15 places on the board - five tenants, five independent experts and five councillors.
