KING James Community Theatre Group (The Theatre Hooligans) held their annual awards, known as The Cecils recently.
Each of the main award winners received an original water colour painting or pencil drawing.
Bishop Auckland Theatre Hooligans (Bath) are in their seventh year as a community theatre company.
They are currently working on projects based around drug abuse, children's stress and communication. Previous work includes material on domestic violence and teenage pregnancy and an award winning work on bogus officials and anti-social behaviour.
Forthcoming events include The Witches Cauldron, at the King James Community Theatre, from December 11 to 13. This is a family show features a cast of 105, aged from seven to 14. Telephone (01388) 603543 for details.
In January, a festival of shows by our oldest group, 14 to 20-year-olds, will take place at Bishop Auckland Town Hall
