MARGARET Kendall from Brough was on top form when she won the 25-starter Equiline Discovery qualifier at Richmond equestrian centre on Julia Lloyd's Fair Green, pipping John Shaw on Fast and Curious.
Margaret, who sustained facial injuries while schooling a young horse, was delighted to qualify for the Blue Chip championships next April.
Robert Shields from Crook took a Newcomers riding Just Flint, while Angie Mills won the Members Cup with Meadowcroft Midget ahead of Margaret Swinburn on Springwell Double Deal and Foxhunter winner Amanda Cowan from Elwick on Dovecote Jilly.
The centre also hosted a junior show when Jane Barker, daughter of Olympic rider William Barker from Northallerton, took the Members Cup on Rainbow Times ahead of Rae Louise Farmer and Golden Fortune.
Emma Wright from Skelton took the 1.20m open with Kats Hot Money and also qualified Westbourne Special E for the Equiline Discovery finals.
Joanne Bell took the open with Spotted Fever ahead of Helen Webb from Scarborough on Diana's Memory. The latter qualified for the Krailburg finals at Moorhouse.
Tony Brown filled first and second places with Bowes Milkshake and Cindykate in the British Novice. The latter also won at Holmeside Park, Edmondsley.
Adam Valks was the top junior rider at Holmeside when he clinched the winter 138cm and 90cm open with Royal Declan and the small pony open and winter JC with Diego III.
Christina Foley took the senior 1m open riding Newhouse Falco, ahead of Vicky Baker on Cheap to Keep.
Phillippa McKeever from Durham took the Newcomers with Oratio, ahead of Alison Cana riding Westbourne Everytime and Robert Shields on Great Northern Otis.
Phillippa also won the 1.25m open and Horse and Hound Foxhunter with Crown Alliance and was runner-up in the Members Cup with Crown Reaction behind Donna Lillie on Alpine Marc.
Sara Martin, in her final season of juniors, has qualified Zeemax and Esselle for the Blue Chip finals at Solihull after qualifying at Moorhouse.
