YOUNGSTERS who have been learning all about healthy eating were invited to put their new-found knowledge to the test.
Years five and six at RAF Leeming Primary School are taking part in a project about the body and healthy eating.
And they were invited to produce a two-course "healthy menu" which were judged by the base's catering officer Flight Lieutenant Chris Wardle.
The competition was won by Natalie Maylor, pictured left being served the dish by Fl Lt Wardle. Ben Townsend, right, was runner-up and Alasdair Egerton third
