A REDCAR photographer has been made the second honorary life member of an 80-year-old east Cleveland photographic society.
Philip Chisholm, of Studio Tristan, was given the honour at Saltburn Photographic Society's annual portrait competition, which was held earlier this week.
He has been judging the society's portrait competition throughout his photographic career.
"To be awarded such an honour by your local peers is one of the hardest things in life to achieve," said Mr Chisholm yesterday.
"I am very moved to receive this accolade from a group of professional photographers who enjoy amateur status, for their efforts and quality are truly of a professional standard.
"Out of the many other awards I have received for my photography during my career, this one means the most."
Mr Chisholm works as a wedding photographer and writes for the photographic press on digital imaging.
