BLUE bag roadshows are to be held at a series of markets to help promote a recycling scheme for paper.
The roadshows are the latest stage in Stockton Borough Council's blue bag recycling scheme for waste paper, which is run in partnership with Roseberry Recycling and Cheshire Recycling.
The scheme, which started in March, is part of the council's Life 21 environment programme. Eighty-five per cent of the borough's homes take part.
Residents taking part in the recycling initiative put out their old newspapers, magazines, junk mail and other white paper waste in the blue recycling bag for collection.
The roadshows will help residents to find out more about the scheme, as well as collect a blue bag and a collection calendar.
They will also be able to have any questions answered that they might have about the scheme.
The roadshows will take place at Billingham market on Monday, at Stockton on Wednesday, at Thornaby on Thursday and at Stockton next Saturday.
