AN ENVIRONMENTAL improvement scheme is being planned for two primary schools in Hartlepool.
Grounds for Learning is a north Hartlepool partnership environmental initiative which hopes to create defensible and sustainable spaces within school grounds. It allows the external environment to be improved to give a safe and stimulating setting for children's development.
Work at St John Vianney RC Primary School and Barnard Grove Primary School will take place during this academic year and the next.
Design workshops and consultations are to take place and councillors from Hartlepool Borough Council's regeneration board will discuss the plans tomorrow.
