WINTER wonderlands are among the subjects in a new exhibition.
Tomorrow, an exhibition by about 20 North-East artists on the theme of winter will open at the Discovery Centre, in Bishop Auckland.
James Lowther, of Groundwork West Durham said: "Anyone could take part in the exhibition as long as the work was on this theme, resulting in the first open art exhibition to be displayed in Bishop Auckland, an exhibition that all the community could take part in."
During the afternoon of Saturday, December 15, there will be a Christmas card workshop at the Discovery Centre.
It will be open to all ages, and prizes for the three best pieces of work in the winter exhibition will be awarded.
Prizes have been donated by Bowes Museum, Cameo Fine Art and WH Smith.
