WILDLIFE lovers can find mince pies and mulled wine at a County Durham nature reserve.
Low Barns nature reserve in Witton-le-Wear, Bishop Auckland will be staging a weekend of Christmas celebrations on Saturday and Sunday, December 15 and 16, between 11am and 4pm, when there will be freshly cut Christmas trees on sale, Christmas stalls and carols and a visit from Father Christmas.
All proceeds will go to Durham Wildlife Trust.
Chief Executive Richard Wood said: "We are delighted the Christmas tree sale is able to go ahead this year.
"Low Barns nature reserve was closed throughout the spring and summer due to the foot-and-mouth outbreak.
"We are slowly getting back to normal and hope that our regular customers and new ones will come to the sale."
