Hartlepool United's five game unbeaten run came to a thrilling end as they went down 2-1 to Luton Town.
Pools were two down at the break. First Pools keeper Anthony Williams spilled a cross and Dean Crowe tapped home before Matthew Taylor scored in injuty time.
Pools took the game to Luton in the second period and were given massive boost when Ian Hillier was red carded.
Five minutes later Ritchie Humphreys tapped home to make it 2-1 - and from then on it was all Pools.
But despite creating a host of chances, a combination of bad luck in front of goal and some inspired Luton goalkeeping meant their unbeaten stretch was ended.
