A GROUP of students has held a party for elderly people in Darlington.
GNVQ hospitality and catering students from Hummersknott Comprehensive School, Darlington, arranged the party for 120 elderly people from sheltered accommodation.
They organised the food, entertainment and raffle prizes for the party in the school hall.
The Year 11 pupils also ensured younger pupils were involved by dressing up as elves to hand out presents to the visitors.
Teacher Judith Tamagni said: "The children have worked really hard to make sure the party was a success. They collected more than 50 raffle prizes.
