A NEWTON Aycliffe film club is planning to screen more films following the success of its first feature.
Greenfield Community and Arts Centre recently presented its first film night to a packed audience.
The film on show was the adventure Tomb Raider, which recently appeared on large screens across the country.
A spokesman for the centre said: "Although the film was shown on a mobile screen the effect was fantastic due to its size and the addition of surround sound.
"More than 70 people attended the showing and commented on how much they enjoyed it."
More films will follow and there is the possibility of a family feature before Christmas, with tickets at £1 for under-18s, £1.50 for adults and £4 for a family ticket.
