STARS of TV and radio will perform at the Consett Empire theatre this weekend.
The Variety Express show will feature Radio 2 and 4 star Al Scott as well as Neil Sean of Sky, BBC and Yorkshire TV.
There will be music, comedy, magic and dancers at the show as well as free gifts including theatre tickets, wine, CDs, signed books and videos.
The Variety Express night, which tours the country, can be seen at the theatre on Saturday, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from the theatre box office on (01207) 218171 and cost £4 or £3 for concessions.
Meanwhile, details of the cinema listings and live shows planned for the Empire Theatre and Stanley Civic Hall for the Christmas period have been released.
Films include Osmosis Jones, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Atlantis and the Lost Empire and The Little Princess and Andre.
Music events include Dream Christmas - S Club Party and Ronan, Dream Christmas - Step by Step and Boyz Only and An Evening of Christmas Music with Friends of the Empire Theatre. For further information call (01207) 218014.
