POP starlets Hear'say have helped launch a Christmas toy appeal that will benefit youngsters around the region.
They launched a national campaign, with the Julie Graham Children's Charity and Peugeot cars, that will make sure needy children have a good Christmas.
In the Chester-le-Street Peugeot showroom, a car will be transformed into a modern-day Santa's sleigh where customers can drop off new or used toys.
Philip Hardie, managing director for Newfield's dealership Richard Hardie, said: "Christmas is a very special time and by joining forced with Hear'say we will be putting a smile on children's faces this festive season.
"We are appealing to people to buy an extra present or donate a toy in good condition to our Christmas appeal."
