OUR school has a special bond with Villa Real School, in Consett. Our upper junior children visit Villa Real School on a rota basis joining in with the lessons in one of their junior classes.
On alternate weeks, four Villa Real pupils visit one of the three upper junior classes to work with our pupils.
Today, Mr Stephenson and four year six pupils are attending Villa Real's Carol Service in All Saints' Parish Church here in Lanchester.
This is always a moving service. Ashley Suddes said: "Last year the Carol Service was excellent."
Mrs Wood, headteacher of Villa Real, said of the work: "It is of great benefit to the children of both schools
