CHARITY begins at home and for 30 years ex-serviceman Dave Parry has been tirelessly collecting for local charities.
The 59-year-old Guisborough man says he has been staggered by the number of donated toys he has been able to collect this year.
He said: "We have got over 100 toys, it's absolutely marvellous."
This year the toys are being split between the women's refuge in Middlesbrough and the children's wards at the James Cook University Hospital.
