Darlington Spraire Lads and Lasses - At Under-11 Spraire played Hartlepool St Aidans.
A corner by Ashton resulted in a goal mouth scramble and Hastie poked the ball home for the first.
The second half saw Spraire applying pressure but excellent defending and great goalkeeping kept them at bay however St Aidans always looked dangerous. The result was settled when Martin scored to make the final score 2-0 to Spraire.
At Under-13 Spraire continued there promotion push with a 4-0 victory at Fishburn Juniors. Goals came from Craig Lavelle, Gary Hill, Robert Knox, and man of the match Dale Elgie.
The Under-12s played Redcar Racers and won 4-1 with goals coming from Sam Wootten (2), Joe Clamp and Micheal Burton.
At Under-15 Spraire played in the Durham Cup against local team Darlington West End and they won 8-0 with goals from Dale Hanson (3), Sam Grant (2), Luke Kelland (2) and Iain Grey.
At Under-14 the B team continued their push for the championship with a 12-0 victory at Eston goals came from Martin (2) Jakeway (2) McDonald (4) Oliver (2) Tarren and Robson. The under 14 A team lost 6-2 at South Bank Spraires. Scorers were Wilson and Healey.
At Under-17 Spraire played Hartlepool West View. Blenkharn scored the vital first goal with 25 minutes left and then Spraire in the end came out 5-0 winners with goals from Wilson, Jenkinson, Woodford and Blenkharn (2).
In mini soccer Spraire at Under-8 played Coulby Newham winning 3-1 in a game where Matthew Plumb dominated midfield. The goals came from Wilson Kneeshaw and two for man of the match Kerry Headley.
At Under-10 in the Teesside League Spraire played Leven winning 4-1 the goals coming from Nicky Petch, Owen Raper, Nathan Wilson and man of the match Craig Swainston. In the following friendly Spraire lost 4-2 goals coming from Jonathan Blewitt and Nicky Petch.
In the Cleveland League Spraire played Cumby Rovers drawing 0-0 man of the match went to James Park. In the following friendly Spraire won 3-2 goals from Neil Mallaby and Adam Swann.
In girls football Spraire Lasses at Under-11 continued their run to make it four victories from four. Winning 3-0 against Newcastle Laurel Barr was outstanding in defence helped by Joanne Wrey and Laura Spence.Kate McTague played well in goal Jordan Atkinson worked hard in midfield and girl of the match Racheal McKnight scored a hat trick.
The girls at Under-13 combined with Reyrolls Kestrells winning 9-3 against Rutherford Rovers goals coming from Danni Shutt, Kathryn Clarke (3), Brogan Prudoe (2) and a hat trick for girl of the match Rachel Healey.
Laurel Barr had an outstanding game in defence for Spraire Lasses Under-11 in their 3-0 win over Newcastle as she made sensible tackles and intelligent distribution. Laura Spence showed her versatility after playing well in goal in Spraire Lasses' last game, by playing full back, midfield and forward in this latest Tyne Tees Girls Youth League game.
Joann Wray made several interceptions along with hard tackles to keep Newcastle at bay. Twins Helen and Katie McTague showed skill with Katie making a superb save when off her line.
Keely Edwards and Jordan Atkinson worked hard with Atkinson going close to scoring on several occasions.
Girls of the match were Elleanor Moran and goalkeeper Anna Hayes for Newcastle with Rachel McKnight getting the honour for Spraire Lasses scoring a hat-trick inside 33 minutes with the third a shot from 20 yards. McKnight also sewed up the midfield towards the end when Newcastle tried to get back into the game.
Spraire Lasses are top of the league with four wins out of four.
Reyrolles Kestrels and Spraire Lasses Under-13s beat Rutherford Ravens from Gateshead 9-3.
Danni Shutt scored one goal, Brogan Prudhoe two goals with Kathryn Clarke (3) and girl of the match Bethany Swinbank both had good games. Spraire Lasses would like to wish Natalie O'Brien a speedy recovery for her recent injury.

Darlington Albion
The Under-9s played away at Northallerton, braving the cold weather conditions, but still continued to improve their performances:
Results - game one: lost 2-1. Scorer and man of the match Jack Scarr.
Game two: played with one man down, lost 12-0. Man of the match Daman Randhawa.
Game three: lost 2-0. Man of the match Joshua Coe.
Game four: lost 4-0. Man of the match Joe Ashton.
Willington Boys
THE Under-14s drew 3-3 at home to Waldridge Park in the Russell Foster Junior League after trailing 2-0 at half time. Willington made a spirited come-back in the second half with goals from Nick Hayton (2) and Warren Robinson.
The Willington lads could have won but for a fine display by the Waldridge keeper. Joe Mullin and Graham Lazenby were joint MoM for Willington.
The Under-13s won through to the semi finals of the league cup with a 7-2 victory at home to Hendon Vics. The goals came from Lewis Hope, Warren Roberts, Alan Combie, Ryan Young (2) and man of the match Dave Dent (2).
Auckland and District Ebac Youth League
Leaders Barnard Castle won 1-0 at home to second placed Chilton YC in their top of the table clash in the League Cup qualifying table.
The vital goal was scored on the hour by substitute Joseph Lewandowski with his first touch of the ball just after coming on.
Bishop Auckland Under-18s beat visitors Spennymoor Legion 4-1 to move up to third place in the league cup table. Kevin Dodds (2), Steven Fothergill and Danny Whittaker scored for Bishops, Gavin Francis replying for the Legion.
Willington won 2-0 at home to Ferryhill in the same competition, Max Applegarth and Stuart Rand scoring.
